libnetfilter-cttimeout-dev software package provides fine-grain connection tracking timeout infrastructure for netfilter, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libnetfilter-cttimeout-dev
libnetfilter-cttimeout-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libnetfilter-cttimeout-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libnetfilter-cttimeout-dev *
You will get with libnetfilter-cttimeout-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
